for ipad user this site can look easier than this, you can do both ipad and desktop together but please keep it's simple like what you have been done now.

Very nice. Neat and clean. Have you considered incentivising sign-ups by getting people to claim their username? Parse their email address to see if they have a neat username available...

To be able to add some extra info to the email to indicate who it is, e.g. met at the start up weekend , with the idea xyz

Maybe we could use these various sites sign on to speed up the process of registering.

Maybe you could cache the information and push to the cloud when you have internet connection.
